The purpose of the training is to develop the competence and confidence of general dentists so that they can work effectively and ethically in a general or community practice setting.

It uses many teaching-learning techniques to make adult learning both stimulating and interesting. The contact classes include interactive lectures (onsite and online), clinics, skills development, group activities and assessments. The content of the whole course is offered online.
The purpose of this 1-year blended learning course is to impart knowledge and provide skills up-gradation for general practitioners in rehabilitation medicine at the primary care level, with a strong emphasis on ethics, values, social responsibility, and teamwork. This is not equivalent to any postgraduate residential courses. The course provides a mix of interactive online self-learning modules, discussion forums, face-to-face online teaching and learning sessions, onsite skill training, field visits, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and project work.
There is a need to produce specialists whose practices focus on Lifestyle Medicine. At the same time, physicians and surgeons from all specialties also need to gain the knowledge and skills of integrating lifestyle medicine into their current practices and specialties. Meeting these needs are the aim of this 1-year blended learning course. With the PGDLM more doctors and their associates will be equipped to provide clinical service, teaching and receive an introduction to research in lifestyle medicine proposed Postgraduate.
The overall aim of the PGDCBE course is to encourage and to equip learners to become and to be Christ-centered in their approach and practice of their profession, thereby upholding sanctity of life and dignity of humans irrespective of people’s socio-economic, cultural, linguistic, literacy and gender differences. In the provision of healthcare in addition to knowledge and skills one might possess, this will enhance the affective aspect of a person thereby enabling one to provide satisfying, wholistic healthcare, in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
